### Notes / Description
I'll admit that while I was happy with v1 it was also kinda rushed as I thought the work was done months ago and just kinda did some quick fixes and got it out. Almost immediately after I got hit with v2 disease and went back to the drawing board.

This part pissed me off the most. A few weeks after I published v1 I had found out that MilQ had actually done a 1080p version of his release with complete comps of all the 2K BDs. Per his finding the DEBD I had used featured the same shaperning and fake grain as it's UHD counterpart. So just go with the Remastered JPBD then right? Well, it wasn't that simple. To put it plainly both of these sources are less than stellar and neither is perfect. The JPBD has really garish black levels that make the film looked washed out in many shots, the encoding is also much worse at a glance. The DEBD has more blown out highlights and more garish whites in spots (possibly a side effect of their tonemapping) on top of the sharpening and fake grain. Ultimately I went with the Remastered JPBD as I talked it out with others and the garish look is probably the intended look for the film. The encoding leaves a lot to be desired, I might do an alternate mux using the DEBD. [Comparison Pics](https://slow.pics/c/Fj0xQlDK)

The only major change on the JP side of the audio is with the 5.0 track. After further investigations into the track I found that it is more remixed than I had originally thought despite the lack of LFE and evidence of dual-mono surrounds. I decided to make my own custom decode using the UHD stereo and a new software decoder (LtRtMatrix) which sounds MUCH better than FreeSurround.
ENG audio made me want to pull my fucking hair out. Shortly after v1 was posted I randomly decided to check the first US DVD release again as I had thrown it out in favor of the SE DVD mix. What I found was a completely unique mix with much different sound effects and semi-cleaner dialogue. If the end credits are to be believed correctly, this mix was done for the US Theatrical release (Dolby Stereo Digital is listed in the credits) and was mixed by the infamous Les E. Claypool III. This mix was seemingly only ever released on this DVD as the US LD only has Dolby Surround audio. Thanks to this, I have decided to refer to the common stereo mix as the "International Mix" as it can be assumed that this mix was done by the JP side for other markets while Manga did their own mix for the US market per their collaboration. I also found out the 6.1 tracks from the SE DVD lack any LFE activity so for that reason I have named them 6.0 while leaving them in their usual 6.1 configuration. Lastly, I have added the 5.1 TrueHD JPN & ENG tracks (converted to FLAC) from the Lionsgate RM4K BD as lossless surround alternatives.

Only change made is that a line that is missing in the Atmos/Surround mixes was removed in said track. I also slightly redid the opening text to match the JPBD better. Other than that I'm still using the UK translation and the US translation has been updated in the extras for those who want it. Dubtitles had some minor corrections done and removed the ED lyrics which I had missed.
Extras -
I had trouble locating two extras from the Lionsgate RM4K BD for v1 but now having access to the disc I was able to re-add them. I've heard they're really good so be sure to check them out.
Just wanted to give you props on your efforts on one the greatest anime's for its time. The frame images slider comparison you used is fantastic . That really shows the time you invested in this video.
I kind of get what you are trying to do with trying to improve on sharpness and clarity but I also think that for 1995 software and hardware there ware limitations because of what was available in that timeline. Specifically the depth of all aspects of each frame from creation, I'm sure money plays into some of this as well for making this video originally.
